The Employees’ Retirement System of Georgia (ERSGA) Board of Trustees recently recognized Frank F. Thach, Jr. for his nearly 17 years of dedicated service as a Trustee, culminating with the adoption of a formal resolution honoring his many contributions to the System and the citizens of Georgia.

Mr. Thach served on the ERSGA Board of Trustees from December 17, 2009, through June 30, 2026. During his tenure, he provided thoughtful leadership and steadfast guidance while helping oversee the retirement security of Georgia’s public employees, retirees, and beneficiaries.

Throughout his service, Mr. Thach held several key leadership positions, including Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Investment Committee. He also served on the Joint Management Committee and multiple ad hoc committees, where his expertise, professionalism, and sound judgment helped shape important decisions affecting the System.

A retired employee of the Georgia State Finance and Investment Commission, Mr. Thach brought decades of public service experience to the Board. His commitment to fiduciary excellence, prudent stewardship of trust assets, and dedication to serving Georgia’s public workforce earned the respect and admiration of fellow Trustees, staff, investment professionals, and stakeholders alike.

The Board of Trustees expressed its sincere appreciation for Mr. Thach’s exemplary service and lasting impact on ERSGA. His leadership and commitment have helped strengthen the System and will leave a legacy that benefits Georgia’s public servants for years to come.
