Effective July 1, 2026, eligible Law Enforcement members may qualify for enhanced employer matching contributions through the GSEPS Peach State Reserves (PSR) 401(k) Plan under Senate Bill 452.

The enhancement provides eligible law enforcement officers with an opportunity to increase retirement savings and strengthen long-term financial security. Members with less than six years of creditable service continue to receive a dollar-for-dollar employer match on contributions up to 5% of pay.

Beginning at six years of creditable service, eligible law enforcement officers who contribute at least 5% of pay to their PSR 401(k) account may qualify for increased employer matching contributions, with the employer match rising based on years of service and reaching a maximum of 15%.
